Hp fax, copy, printer, prints confirmation when receiving faxes

We have a fax, copy, printer (HP) and I figured out how to get a fax confirmation when you fax out but for some reason we are getting confirmations when we receive as well. how do we stop that? I need step by step directions

Without knowint your particular model number / serial number etc I have no idea lol.
