must be placed inside a form tag with runat=server.

Whenever I add a control to a form it gives me an error like this:
Control 'Button3' of type 'Button' must be placed inside a form tag with
runat=server.

any idea?

what should I do to make any control that I drag to the for will go between <form> </form> tags, without doing it manually?.

In what program? I know Javascript & HTML, not ASP etc., yet...

How about looking in the documentation for the program you use? Click on the Help menu & look for: drag control to form, etc.

the visual studio is not installed with help documentation
