Server DAEMON in C#?

I need to build a Server DAEMON for use on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server. The DAEMON needs to be active 24 hrs per day and 7 days per week. I'd like to use Visual Studio 2003, C# and .NET framework 1.1.

Does anyone have ... Samples? Advice? Whitepapers? Articles? HELP?

MSDN documentation describes 2005 version, you need to find samples for ikd versions, for example:
