Hello,

I have a servlet that produces a form. Form displays nicely. In the form I have a text inout box and a push button (and many more). When button is pushed it goes to doPost(), and then after certain manipulations, doPost calls doGet(), where the form for the next cycle is prepared. I do not see anywhere in the code (in doGet()) a blank chatacter is added into the input text box nor in  doGet(). But when the form is displayed (even after I do not enter anything in the first cycle into the input box) in the second or later cycle(s) a blank character is displayed in the text input box. This is very visible as I can see the cursor on the box blinks one character position to the right. So it is obvious that there is a blank character.

I know this is not an easy thing for some one to say why it is hapenning. But I am just curious if someone in these forums had the same experience, and
if there was a solution, what was it.

Thanks for your time
