Lotus Notes puts spreadsheet into trash instead of attaching it to a file
Since coming back from a few days off and changing setting from out of office, when I try to send an excel spreadsheet to someone in my notes, it puts it into the trash without being able to recover it. Any idea if this could be a rule or something that somehow got set or what?
So, does it send the message? Does it strip the attachment and send the message? Does it not send a message at all?

where is the refresh/replace for the design. Sorry, I'm new to notes-I've been using outlook for years.
Open Notes client the mail file, if you can switch to the workspace and select the mail icon by right clicking on it to get the menu-- Database>>properties
You need to see what the current inheritance is so if you click on the second tab, it will say something like: Inherit design from master template, template name
Then it will say stdR6Mail, or stdR7mail or some variation
Remember that.
Close the properties box, select Database>>Replace Design
A dialog box will appear where you select the SERVER or Local and then scroll down until you see Mail (R6) or Mail (R7) or Extended Mail (R6) and so on.
You need administration access to replace the design on the mail file.
