Archive Warning Error outlook 2003

Hi There, I know PSTs are not supported any more but I have a small problem with one.

The PST file is a new one its size is 1.5MB the problem is archiving to it, whatever dates I set to archive it to. It flashes a very very brief message in the bottom right hand corner of outlook which says "Archive Warning" (note I don’t think this is the complete message as it flashes for a split second)" Then it says ""All Folders up to date" but it hasn’t archived the mail even when I set to archive to set yesterday.

We have run Scan PST etc with no errors before I recreate his mail profile/Mail box I though I would run this by you guys.

What do you think?

In outlook > file > archive - when you archive and give the options, see if the personal folders is selected with sub folders option and that archive items with do not archive set. I cant remember the exact phrase.

Hi,

I changed the options to "Archive all folders according to their auto archive settings" did a quick archive on these settings after changing the properties archiving option on the inbox first. Then changed them back to "Archive this folder and all subfolders" and reset the date to archive and it worked. It archived all the items up to the date I set.
