Unable to open .msg attachments in outlook by clicking on them

I have a user and previously she would get a reservation statement as an "msg" attachment in Outlook 2003. She could then click on it and open it. Now the attachment comes through with the 'unregistered program icon' when she clicks on it she gets the error "Object not found". If she saves the attachment to her hard drive she can open it fine from there.
If she forwards the message all others in the office can see the little envelope, right click on the file and see the .msg extension, and open the file no problem.
I have run the detect and repair, and updated the latest patches and still no luck....

I have corrected the problem. I had to clear the 'custom form' cache and restart Outlook and it worked.
