Hi Experts,

Im living in the Montreal Area and we are out of phone numbers. So the Phone Companie (BELL) has add an new area code and now, we have to dial the area code before each 7 digit numbers.

I've got a DOS software who use a MoDem to call a vault. The problem is that the software doesnt allow more than 7 digit and now I have to dial 10 digit to reach the other computer.

I had an Idea, can I initialize the MoDem with an AT command telling the MoDem that before each dialing, dial 450 ?

Got any other better idea ? If my Idea is something fine, can someone help me with the AT command I should use  ?

Thanx,

DEE
