Hello,

I have firebird on my PC running as a service (single instance).
1. Can I run two programs at the same time using the single instance of firebird to connect to their respective firebird database.

If #1 can't be done

2. How do I create a second service of firebird that can run at the same time as the first connection.

Your expertise would be much appreciated. So I am offering 500 points.

1) You can. A single Firebird server can handle multiple independent databases, each with multiple client connections.

2) That's how to use different databases: http://www.firebirdsql.org/manual/qsg15-databases.html
