Hi experts can anyone tell me what techniques can be used.

I wish to implement prioritization between different types of services such as voice, data etc,  can you tell me what techniques can be used to give priority to short data frames over long ones in a WLAN

You need to use WLAN devices that support 802.11e, which is QoS for wireless. It is made exactly for situations such as yours - voice/video/data.
