Hi,
I have a small problem with Veritas Backupexec notifications not working when a job is successful, but will not send the job log to the reciepents even though they are setup. When you test the connection under configuration it works fine I have followed just about everything you can find on the veritas web site but still not getting no joy. Has any one come across this before please help.
operating system win 2k server
veritas backup exec 9.1
Thanks
Elliott

Which method are you using to send the notification?
SMTP?
MAPI?

Where did you set the notification? On the job or in the application?

Simon.

hi Simon,
I am trying by SMTP, but I seem to have fixed it for the moment apprantley it happens because of daylight savings after going through loads of Veritas pages on symatec websites and talking to other sever friends, they no about it and will not be repairing it until they do the next major update Great HA! have a look at the following link
www.webservertalk.com/archive283-2005-11-1256416.html plus its all over the forum on symatec web site
cheers
