Hello Experts,
Suddenly most  of my arriving emails went into the Junk Email folder.

Even my own email address which is also my default address.

I checked in Options Preferences Junkemail and the button is set to no Automatic Filtering

Non of the "lost" emails were listed in Blocked senders.

Any ideas please?

Regards

John

Greetings, johnhardy !

1. Make sure you have the latest updates for your version of Outlook. Outlook 2003 is up to service pack 2 and hotfixes.

2. Change the Junk Mail Filtering in Outlook 2003 to a lower level. To change junk e-mail settings in Outlook 2003:

A. On the Tools menu, select Options.
B. In the Options dialog box, in the E-mail section, click Junk E-mail.
C. Choose the level of junk e-mail message protection you want. Click OK.

3. If the problem persist, create a new profile.

4. If no joy, uninstall and reinstall Outlook.

Best wishes!

If an uninstall reinstall is carried out are the data files still intact?

johnhardy,

Yes, data files will stay intact. They are stored in a separate folder, the Application Data folder.

Outlook uninstall is in the Add/Remove Programs > Microsoft Office.  Click on uninstall of MS Office, and you will be given option to uninstall all of MS Office, or parts of it.
