Citrix web interface port 2598 problem

I just set up a new Citrix presentation server 4.0. Everything seems to work on the LAN, but when remoting in from a public ip I have probelms with web interface/Nfuse. I can RDC in fine from a public IP. I can use web on the LAN if i use a direct translation rule for a specific IP for the firewall settings.

We have a firewall, and i have ports 80, 443, 1494, 1604, 2598 open, but I cannot telnet into 2598 (even on the LAN when the firewall doesn't matter) for some reason. I can telnet 1494 just fine from anywhere.

I have the altaddr set to the public Ip, but i'm not sure if i have all the settings correct (NAT etc.). I can log into the server via my public ip, but when i click on the application i get a server "not accepting connections".

Please help.

Check out this article and make sure the WI has its alternate address:

https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX584485

Would you do this: right click and choose Save instead of left clicking and launching your app from the Web Interface?  Then open the launch.ica file in notepad and paste in the results?

The alt address seems to be correct on the server.

The launch.ica paste:

Well, it's working now! I made the changes last Thursday, and it still wasn't working. I just rebooted and now it works. I have to assume I didn't reboot after the last change I made on Thursday.

Anyway, thanks... hopefully it will behave from here on out.
