Hi Experts,

I seem to be having a problem with a w2k3 domain,

The domain consists of 1 SBS 2003 2 Windows std servers over 3 sites

the 2 remote sites are linked by VPN tunnels

the server are named server1,server02 and server03
server1 = SBS
server02 = Windows 2003 std
server03 = Windows 2003r2 Std.

The server share data via DFS and this all seems to work fine.

The problem I have is that when a machine logs on it does not connect to it's local server it seems to pick one at random.

This can be proven by using the set command at the dos prompt

This effects login as the scripts use %logonserver% to map local drives.

Is there any why that I can set which server I want which site to connect to?

I have tried using LMSCRIPT with the #PRE #DOM but this does nothing

Please can anyone help

Use Sites and Services and configure sites.  Once configured, systems will favor DCs in their site over other DCs.
