I have onboard usb and it is enabled inside the bios. &nbsp;I even got a PCI card with usb slots on it thinking it could possibly be the motherboard. &nbsp; Printer works fine from another pc...im stumped.

So I just bought this HP 5440 for a co-worker. &nbsp;I have never run into any problems intalling a printer before. &nbsp;I plug it in to the computer, and nothing happens, nothing is detected. &nbsp;I tried 2 printers (usb) and I have tried multiple cables. &nbsp;USB 001 doesn't even show up as an option under adding printers. &nbsp;I have just purchased a secondary pci usb card because I wasn't sure if it was just the connectors on the motherboard. &nbsp;Here is the setup:<br />

I was told to replace the usbmon and usb print drivers, restart, then attempt to lacate the printer. &nbsp;But still no luck. &nbsp;Anyone have any ideas?!?!?? &nbsp;I know its something to do with the computer, not the printer...just dont know what.

USB won't detect printer
