Download the demp program and you can see how it is done. If you like what this can do then copy the codes that you need.

justchat_1, when I tried your first comment (which was a great example), it seemed to close windows based on their captions, instead of their exe names. Of course, explorer.exe does not have a real form, and therefore does have a caption. However, when I tired terminating a folder, explorer.exe shut down for about a second, and then started up again. The same thing happens with lunchbyte app.

kaliyugkaarjun, great link. I was fairly pissed when I didn't see your post while I was typing my response to previous comments, and then I decided to chk out your answer before posting, and then the program caused my ie window closed and I lost my response I just finished typing!! But I simply changed that if statement by adding a not and it closed explorer.exe, but as usual it only lasted for about one second before it boots up again. I have yet to see whether this is enough time for my program to do what it needs to do. If not, I will need to find a way to keep it closed before I can award points. So far kaliyugkaarjun researched way seems to be most reliable and easy to use.
