Execute following commands after changing your database name.

exec sp_removedbreplication 'db_name'
go
exec sp_dboption 'db_name','published',false
go
exec sp_dboption 'db_name','merge publish',false
go

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Check Sysobjects of the database which is going fro replication then query for values having replinfo >0 and update those tables by zero and then check it.

second way is to re enable replication process and then try to disable it.

Hope that will sort out your query.
