Hi Experts

i am using sqldmo.dll in my application. i have added it in my setup project and set its Register property vsdrfCOMSelfReg
but if i uninstall my app then try to run sql server it generates error some thing like "sqldmo.dll is not registered" so it is possible in vb.net setup to restrict our installer that it does not unregister sqldmo.dll at uninstall time or some other better solution.

its very urgent.

thanks,
ahmad

click on the file in the File System Editor and in the files properties find the following:-

Permanent - change this property to TRUE

It shouldn't uninstall then; see if it keeps it registered - it should
