I prefer detailed answers. Thank you in forward.

hi there

if u are interested to do the course in india it would cost u around 200$ and it would be for a duration of 5 weeks where in they would cover all versions of SAP i.e 4.6,4.7ee,ECS 5. This includes right from the installation, user managment, transport mgmt, profiles creation and multiple environments. U can gets hands on experience on a IDES version which is a Training version of SAP but has all the features existing in the production version. The DB would be at much of the palces Oracle and the OS being Windows2000 and windows2003 servers. The coverage is exhaustive and would address all the concepts under the roof of SAP.

I have attended the training for SAP in Hyderabad and the faculty was a SAP Technical consultant who had experience of total 19 yrs in system admin out of which 8 years has been on SAP life-cycle implementations. Only issue is that he was not very good with his grammer but we could understand the concepts crystal clear.

Hi bhanu:

Thank you for your comments but could you please tell me the site of this institut or the phone number. Also, i heard that there is another institutes in banglor as it is the IT city in INDIA. Could you tell me about good one there if you can. Please i need address or website so i can contact them.
Hi LocraS,

I do not agree with certain aspects mentioned by our colleague in the above posts.
Training in SAP lndia continues to be costly, the cost of legitimate SAP training is the same everywhere with a nominal difference of +50 or -50 dollars.

These institutes do not teach the ground basics, nor do they provide correct information. I have been working in Bangalore since the past 3 years and I have met many candidates who have studied in such institutes and have concluded that they do not have a good understanding of SAP.

The best way is to join a company as trainee and gain some hands on experience and read the extensive documentation availabe on http://help.sap.com/

"These institutes" means those which our colleage is speaking about
hi there

well the issue was about cost and cost effective solution so was advising him about the costing, the only advantage in going for a legitimate training is that u get a placement. but i have seen many passing out from those legitimate training centres just because they have paid the money and they are floating around and doing nothing. Atleast these institutes are trying to provide a cost effective solution to the people who cant afford such high training costs. SAP is very well aware of this phenomenon of these institutes which are training people on SAP for way below the official price but they dont want to stop it because they very well know that how many professionals are required in the current situation and these legitimate institutes cant train those many. Coming to the Training part of it whether its a legitimate or not its ultimately the individual who has to decide what is good for him.

There are many candidates who have paid 5000 dollars in banglore, chennai, hyderabad and above all they are certified sap professionals but they dont know an iota of SAP.

coming to banglore i am not sure about the institutes but pls find the links attached
pls go through this link

http://www.relianceglobal.com/Inhouse_Training.html

this is a pretty good institute

bhanu

Ah!,

Reliance again ! Reliance Industries is a group that is everywhere in India and the biggest group in India, they have entered into SAP Training recently.

Further its always better to take training in SAP or SAP approved or SAP Training Partner companies.

In India since a long time the only company that has training license is

Genovate Solutions.

Thank you bhanu and cryptosid for this but, for genovate I tried to contact their office here in Saudi Arabia before but as I mention it is high to me to take a course with them. For reliance I sent them an enquiry email but still they didn't respond. Bhanu could you tell me other than reliance company whose offer a reasonable course price even outside India for example in Singapore or Malaysia or what ever?...

Please anybody read this, his feedback really appreciated to me.

Hello,
This is for bhanukir7.

Can you please let me know the details of training institute for SAP in Hyderabad which isn't costing a bomb?

Thanks.
hi Kunal,

that depends on what in sap you want to get trained on.

If this is about SAP Basis then check if mr.Reyaz is training anywhere and join that institute i think he has his own training institute in Mehidipatnam. There might be few others who might be good. I trained under him in 2006 and he was very good.

maybe it would cost you 10000 odd

bhanu
how about a institute name? i mean, i cant keep calling institutes randomly asking if mr. reyaz is training there.

regarding the training, its for my relative who has done MCA and has about 2 years of mainframes experience. but last 9 months she isn't getting a job. so she is planning to widen her skill set and then get a job in SAP. In short, a training course sufficient for her to get a job.

thanks
