Force pdf on website to open on all client machines in reader without special config on client

I need to force a pdf located on my website to automatically open in acrobat reader on the client machine, not inside the browser/acrobat plugin.  This need to happen automatically on any client machine with reader already installed, WITHOUT any manual configuration of the client machine.

I just discovered that renaming the pdf file to a fdf file seems to bypass the browser plugin and cause it to open in reader.
khdremer - I'm not worried if a user makes a special configuration; I just want a default configuration to behave as requested. Thx.
You cannot rename a PDF file to an FDF file. The two file formats are different and are processed differently. Just because it seems to work in your environment does not mean that it will always work that way.
