URGENT!: SBS exchnage Mapi errors with Outlook 2003

I just installed exchange on SBS 2003 and then Outlook 2003 on top.  I kind of did not pay attention to the "don't install because of MAPI error" message that came up becasue I needed to run Small Business contact manager and share that from the server.

So now for some reason, I can't uninstall Outlook from the exchange server.

And, none of the client workstations can sync with exchange.  Event viewer says:

(see next post)

I dn't need to use outlook on that server if it is going to make those errors.  How can I fix this so that Exchange works properly again?

Your help appreciated.

ASKER

The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error:
The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has failed.
The MAPI provider failed.
Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
ID no: 8004011d-0512-00000000
After that I get the following errors:

LDAP Bind was unsuccessful on directory main.ALG.local for distinguished name ''. Directory returned error:[0x51] Server Down.  DC=ALG,DC=local

AND

Process INETINFO.EXE (PID=1952). All the DS Servers in domain are not responding.

AND

LDAP Bind was unsuccessful on directory main.ALG.local for distinguished name ''. Directory returned error:[0x51] Server Down.  DC=ALG,DC=local

AND

The Win32 API call 'DsGetDCNameW' returned error code [0x862] The specified component could not be found in the configuration information.  The service could not be initialized.  Make sure that the operating system was installed properly.

I have a feeling they are all related.

ok, I uninstalled outlook, and reinstalled Exchnage and that seems to get the error.
