My Computer and Recycle Bin Icons

I used the Thinkvantage Migration utility to transfer settings from a Thinkpad T43 to a T60. The process was successful except that the icons for "My Computer" and the "Recycle Bin" reverted to the default .exe icon. Right clicking these particular icons does not allow me me to resolve the problem. I assume that there is a registry key that assigns the correct icon? Thanks.

this link will point you to the location of the recycle bin icon in the registry
http://www.petri.co.il/delete_recycle_bin_icon_from_the_desktop_in_xp_2003.htm

But I think this is what you really need, "Fixing corrupted desktop icons"
