Go to a command prompt, or click Start->Run, and enter

    Outlook /resetfolders

Sometimes it's necessary to add the path to Outlook too

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe /resetfolders

Change Office11 (Office 2003) to Office10 (Office XP) or Office9 (Office 2000).

Hi npe511,

If this is on an Exchange server and it's been configured for deleted item recovery, then this article explains what to do:
http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF022.html  If this is not on an Exchange server, or if deleted item recovery isn't configured, then your only hope is that the mailbox was backed up.

Cheers!

npe511,

Restoring it as in getting the fodler back?  If so, start Outlook from the command line with the /resetfolders switch.

Thanks for the solution! Can you provide me with more details? Do you mean by typing "/resetfolders" in command line? How do I start outlook from command line?

Thanks!!
