Hi Gurus,

I have hp-ux 11.11 with perl 5.8.5 installed on it.
Initially we have Oracle 10.1.0.3.
So I compiled perl DBD and DBI Module for Oracle 10.1.0.3.
Now the Oracle upgraded to 10.2.0.2 .
So i recompiled DBD Module for oracle 10.2.0.2
Everything went fine.
But still when I do

chtr /usr/local/bin/perl
/usr/local/bin/perl:
        shared executable
        shared library dynamic path search:
            SHLIB_PATH     enabled   second
embedded path  disabled  first  Not Defined
        shared library list:
            dynamic   /oravl01/oracle/10.1.0.3/lib32//libclntsh.sl.10.1
            dynamic   /usr/lib/libm.2
            dynamic   /usr/lib/libnsl.1
            dynamic   /usr/lib/libnm.sl
            dynamic   /usr/lib/libdld.2
            dynamic   /usr/lib/libsec.2
            dynamic   /usr/lib/libc.2
        shared library binding:
            deferred
        global hash table disabled
        plabel caching disabled

As you see it is still looking at 10.1.0.3

Please suggest .
Thanks and regards

From my reading of the instructions, I think you do need to recompile perl
