Displaying a Database in a Datagrid c#

Experts,

I'm fairly new to .net and c#.  Using visual studio i have added a sqlconnection, dataset  and sqldataadapter.  on my form i have a datagrid with the datasource set to my dataset.  i have manged to display the column names of my table successfully but it's not displaying the contents of my table.  

and ideas?
