how to use this camcorder as webcam i have connected with usb cabel and i can use usb streaming only at play/edit mode. when i select memory or tape it disconnects from pc automatically.

Using camcorders as webcams does come with its problems -- even though the manufacturers always seem to say that you can "use it as a webcam".
Often you have to get software to in fact get this to happen.
Your camera has firewire (iLink) so you can use this software if you like, but there are others if you want to search.

The bottom line (in my opinion) is that it's not worth the trouble because the messaging networks that webcams are used on are so ridiculously slow that you really don't get much advantage using a quality camera -- and you have to tie up your camcorder. Webcams are around $10.
