Dreamweaver configuration

I have been advised by an extension producer to delete/rename the configuation folder so that dreamweaver will generate a new one.
When I try to do this I get a message saying
Could not locate the Resourses file in the configuation folder, Please reinstall the application.

So I presume I Uninstal/Reinstall DW and then reinstal all extensions.

Bit of a pain, but is it the correct way please?

Thanks

John,

Did you trash the extension from the Extension Manager or just deactivate it?

You should not have to blow away your installation to recover from this.

In any event, here are the relevant technotes:

Good luck.

Which part?  Trashing the extension or the technotes?

Technotes, Its going pretty well, I made a screen dump so that I could see extensions in previously.
Its the help that's really brilliant. The world becomes a better place!
