Monitor Serial number VB6

I dont know if this is possible but I am wanting to write a script to obtain monitor Serial Numbers of computer machines.

I am looking to write this in VB script if possible.

I can run this script on the machine but would not know where to start.

If any of you can help then i would be most greatful.

What do you mean by "monitor" serial numbers?  If you are referring to serial numbers from the DISPLAY attached to your PC, I doubt there is any way to do this.  Even though a display probably has a serial number printed on it, I've never seen one that has this programmed into it which would be a prerequisite for obtaining it programmatically.

If there were a way to do it, I suspect that there would be a WMI interface to obtain it.
