Hello experts,
I am having a reallly bad time today as i am not able to overcome the following error
***********
Could not load a file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.Shared, version=9.1.5000.0,culture =neutral,p ublickeyto ken=692fbe a551e1304' or one of teh dependencies .
*****************
I have added merge modules: Crystal_RegWiz2003.msm, Crystal_Database_Access200 3_enu.msm, Crystal_Database_Access200 3.msm and Crystal_Managed2003.msm and even VC_User_CRT71_RTL_X86_---. msm and VC_User_STL71_RTL_X86_--- .msm in my setup file.
I have read in a link as to
*****************
......Reports will have to be loaded from disk. ****Reports can be loaded from disk by specifying a file path using the .Load() method of the Reportdocument object. When deploying applications that do not embed report files, the report files must be manually added to the setup projects****.

what do we mean by manually loading the Reportdocument object and how do we do that
Any help would be greatly appriciated

Have you seen this document yet?

We've had problems at times getting the .net setup & deployment project to work correctly so I frequently will 'cheat' and install crystal reports on the client computer using this ( a self -contained msi that installs the needed crystal reports components )

yeah.. using the cr9netredist.zip file.. install the msi on the client machine.
On your development machine, do you have crystal report, I'm presuming, that's used by your application and displays correctly?
