To speed up report processing in any Crystal Report, here are some quick tips:

1) Put as much memory as possible on the machine running reports. Crystal Reports LOVES memory.
2) If you are dealing with large databases, pull the data into the report using a stored procedure, as opposed to adding tables to your report and linking them there.
3) Subreport placement and whether or not it's on demand or not can make a difference, too.

If you want further explanations as to how and why this stuff matters, just let me know.

You give more memory to Crystal by adding more to the machine and having  a fast hard drive (for the memory swap).
