i want to delete a messagequeue

I want to send something over a serial port to a maschine.
But when i position the cnc maschine with the keypad, and press for some seconds the key,
the maschine move and move also if i don`t press the key anymore.
How can i delete this messagesqueue?

please help

It is due to the repeat count. So when you hold down a key for some time, your handler forwards all that keys to the serial port. So instead of clearing the message queue controlling the repeat count would be better solution.

This way you can control that if a specif key is held down for some time e.g. 1 sec then how much keystrock should be sent to the device.
