I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Grant yourself full mailbox access.
Then open the mailbox in your account and copy what you need to do a pst file.
Give the PST file to whoever needs it.

With the account, I would suggest that you don't do anything to it at the moment. Hide it from the Address Lists in the mailbox and possibly move the SMTP address to another account. Let the dust settle from the departure first.
