Configuration Management Systems

I am looking for an inexpensive/free solution (preferably open source) for tracking and logging systems configuration changes to my network and systems. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Nope, I am looking for a change tracker for making notes of and archiving all system updates and changes.

Kiwi Catools can be used to detect config changes on your network devices (e.g. switches & routers).

You can find it at : http://www.kiwisyslog.com/cattools-info.php
