reading and writing to an MS Access DB using a java application

Hi,
I have an MS access DB that I want to access through a JAVA application.
I need to know all the connection commands, and how to invoke SQL commands through java.
I would be glad to see an example of such connection commands, and invoking a "select" and  "update" queries.
note: I prefer a connection soultion that doesn't involve installing or modifying any system drivers or settings.  (if it's possible)

please help,

thanks,
Nimrodon.

Hi,
thanks for your comment.
after creating the connection, how do I embed the SQL commands in the code?

Nimrodon.
