When I try to boot the computer I get 3 beeps and then 2 beeps and it will not do anything after that point.  What might be the problem and how might I repair this?  The monitor, mouse and keyboard are all connected to the computer.  Thanks,

Do you know what make your BIOS is? If you do, you can look up the beep code on the manufacturer's website.
Some common beep codes are here:

 http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml

Without this info, it is hard to interpret your error message.

Here are some more:

http://www.mrhope.com/beep.htm#3
http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/beep/index.htm

A good first step would be to reseat your RAM (maybe swap it to another slot) and try a different graphics card.

The manual for your motherboard usually contains the beep codes. Find the mother board manufacurer and model number printed on the board itself, then go to manufacturer's web site and download the manual for your particular board. Loook for BIOS explanations or "starting up for first time".

If you need to identify your m/board, try using Belarc:

Belarc will also identify your BIOS (and a lot more besides!)
