Cannot burn CD/DVD using Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0

When I create a slideshow in PS Elements 4.0 and click on Burn, I get Error code: c06d007e and Elements shuts down. I tried deleting my 4.0 directory but the problem remained with the new profile.

I have XP Pro SP2 on my Dell Inspiron 8600 with a CD/DVD burner.

I searched Adobe.com and Adobe forums and couldn't find mention of that error code. Googling shows others are experiencing the same problem but I didn't see a valid solution.
