VB.NET & Tables

Hi Experts,

What is the best way to show a table on a form. Is there a control that allows formatting (color, borders etc..)

Cheers,

Tom

are you just showing a table of data   like a datatable..   That would probably best be done with the datagridview in 2005 or datagrid in 2003.   With a little work you can add formatting to them on the cellpaint event or databind events I believe.

I have 2002; I've never looked at the datagrid. Is this also possible in 2002?

I've been looking at the datagrid control. I cant seem to add data to it without using a data source or a data binding.
I would like to add data in a different fashion, much like a listview.

Yes the datagrid is available in 2002.     you can add data to the grid programmatically as well I believe.  I find it easier to build a datatable and bind it but I think you can just add rows.
