in my win 2k server my system log and dns server in the event viewer becomes full of error,warning and information messages within seconds of loggin  in to the server.when the event viewer becomes full  a dialog box pops advising me to clear the logs.the server becomes unstable and sometimes restarts. what drives me nuts is that i keep doin the same thing over and over again.pliz advise me.

In event viewer you can set the event logs to overwrite themselves...  Right click Application Log, System log, etc and choose properties.  Here you can set the log file to be larger and to overwrite itself.

To fix the actual problem, you would have to post the Event ID and source for the event errors that continue to be logged every second.  We can not help without this detail.
