Hi,
We are using a software developed with Delphi which is sending emails at the end of the day to the customers informing them about their order.

Loads of customers are complaining they haven't recevied their emails and when I tell them to check their Spam Folder, 80%, they find the email there.

I am using IP Works HTML emailer.is there any way to stop our emails going to spam folders? couple of tricks in the header of the email for example?

Regards,
Bill

Hi bilgehanyildirim,

this is usually a problem of the company setup.
1) make sure the ip address from which you are sending email can be resolved (eg, it has a domain associated which can be resolved from dns) this is one of the first things checked by spam filters
2) make sure you are using an email account that is accepted by the company security policies and marked as trusted if needed
3) also make sure that the headers are computed correctly (eg, if you are putting in the header a specific domain and the ip resolvs to anotehr one, it is considered spam; also, if the user sending the email does not accept email or is not even registred account with the email server sending the email, it can be considered spam)

you should probably read some more on spam policies and such, but this is nothing related to delphi :)
you can ask in community support to move this question to an appropriate TA if my tips did not help.

Cheers!
