When mail is downloaded by pop3 but not deleted, it shows that it has been read in Outlook

Hello,

I have a sidekick 3 that is downloading mail from an exchange server using pop3.  The problem is that all of the downloaded mail shows that it has been read after is is downloaded.

Is there any way to resolve that?

What you are seeing is normal behaviour which cannot be changed. As far as Exchange is concerned, the message is "read".
