Hi Folks!

I can't install any more .msi packages. This is the logfile I get:

=== Verbose logging started: 12-7-2006  10:20:51  Build type: SHIP UNICODE 3.01.4000.2435  Calling process: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe ===
MSI (c) (4C:54) [10:20:51:984]: Resetting cached policy values
MSI (c) (4C:54) [10:20:51:984]: Machine policy value 'Debug' is 0
MSI (c) (4C:54) [10:20:51:984]: ******* RunEngine:
           ******* Product: setup.msi
           ******* Action:
           ******* CommandLine: **********
MSI (c) (4C:54) [10:20:51:984]: Machine policy value 'DisableUserInstalls' is 0
MSI (c) (4C:54) [10:20:51:984]: MainEngineThread is returning 2
=== Verbose logging stopped: 12-7-2006  10:20:51 ===

The windows error message is in Dutch ofcourse and if necessary I can translate it into Enlgish. Perhaps this logfile is enough?

Ehm my guess would be I have to dive into the registry or fire up the Group Policy Editor?

Regards Paul

Ps this question is urgent...I'm planning on Ghosting my partition asap...so please provide THE solution as quick as you can! :)

The solution: I moved the package I wanted to install to my system drive C:....it originated from another drive, drive D:. Now it installs..so I'm a happy man.

Error 1619 said seomthing about NTFS protected folders....as far as I'm concernd the problem is tackled now.
