TdbEdit and Numeric Allignment

I am using some dbedit components connected to a datasource which comes from a table.

When the field is text the data is left alligned in the box, however when the data is numeric it is right alligned.

Is there a way of left alligning the numeric data as this can make a form look rather messy.

Yes, just modify the alignment on the field (TField), eg:

  DBEdit1.DataSource.DataSet.FieldByName(DBEdit1.DataField).Alignment:=taLeftJustify;
