exchange generated email in mailbox store subject d5469dbd03cb9e47a0b4db0ffd471849-1b91b1

These emails come from the user to the user  with this subject d5469dbd03cb9e47a0b4db0ffd471849-1b91b1.

each user has a different number after -.  

If I go to message tracking and look at todays messages for a user I see one of these emails for every other email.  one to one.  


seems to be only users who have treo's.  they are using push technology one with a Q.

I assume that is what these emails are.  If not and I have a problem let me know

That's the push... you only see it in the message tracking though, right?

I was seeing it in one o f the mailboxes.  on one account.  it appeared in outlook and treo.  but I was having sync error with calendar and I wiped exchange account and re created exchange account for same user.  the only problem is that I have had intermittent blocked emails for that account.  twice I know of one for three hours and one for 5 hours.  I'll have to check to make sure he hasn't seen those emails again after syncing issue was resolved.  and make sure no one else has seen these emails.

What do you mean you "wiped exchange account and recreated exchange account for same user"?  Are you referring to the mailbox or their complete Active Directory Account?  You should NOT be seeing those push messages in a regular mailbox view.... they are system messages only.

To really clear out this account you must delete the Outlook.ost file on thier local computer, Hard reset the Treo and then making sure that ALL messaging files are cleared from the device, then use EXMerge to export the user's mailbox prior to purging the mailbox from Exchange.  I would then only use the exported EXMerge .pst file locally in Outlook and NOT import all of the messages back into the account.
