Script to copy pst file from local computer to nework drive

Is there a script or program that I can use for my users that will copy their pst file stored on their local computer to their personal folder on the network drive?

I'm not sure how updated the Microsoft article that I saw on the MS website but it did mention that they do not recommend or support pst files that are placed on the network for retrieval. I was thinking if  there was a script or program out there then I can set up my users to archive their emails to their local computer and then have the script or program if there is one to copy or do a backup of the pst file to their personal network drive to backup on a nightly basis.

If there are any other solutions I am open to any of them.

Thanks

In your setup you could use this free tool which will allow automated backup of pst files from personal folders

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pfbackup.html

Or if you stored the mail in Exchange, you could use exmerge.  I back up users mailboxes every night to our NAS device.  I do this with a batch file and exmerge, it works very well once you have configured exmerge properly

I find this an easy and fast way to backup all mail. Then if anything happens to Exchange we can restore it.  I would much prefer this to keeping mail on the local machines

Good luck
