We have 2 Kyocera Mita KM2530 printers in our office

They are networked via ip addresses.

We recently how a powerouttage and ever since then we have been having troubles with these 2 printers.

They are not on UPS

Users are able to print to these printers however when they go to print anything in mass quantity they start to print and then stop and print these error messages.

PCL XL Error
Subsystem: Kernel , Text, Image
Error:  IllegalTag, IllegalArraySize, IllegalAttributes, MissingData
Operator: Text, oxfo, ReadImage,
position: 923, 3018, 60, 16

I tried reinstalling the drivers... Didn't work

When I unplug the printer and plug it back in it works for a couple of print jobs and then starts spitting out the error sheet again.

all users can print these jobs to other printers and it works fine its only with these 2 specific printers so I feel its a hardware issue on these printers.

is anyone familiar with this or how to fix it?

Thanks

PCL XL errors are quite common when using PCL6. I have found that the easiest way to avoid them is to use either PostScript or PCL5.

Try installing the KPDL driver. If you don't have it, go to

Try doing a factory reset on the printer. I'm not sure how to do it with your printer, but start by pointing your browser at the printer's IP address. Hopefully something in there will let you do it. Look for something like NVRESET, NVRAM reset, factory defaults reset, etc.

You may also be able to do it from the printers front panel.

You will need to re-enter the IP addresses after a factory reset.
