I've the data to use the Commander but really am ignorant as to the exact procedure to setup the connection correctly...and I'm too busy to figure it out...the rest is simple enough.  Thanks.

A 10060 error is usually caused by loss of connection.  Flaky wireless, bad cable, intermittent network card or similar.

I was simply trying to load the Name: FTP Server: UserID: and Password: to create the new account.  I put the IP in both the Name: and FTP Server: blocks and the UserID: and Password: blocks were simple to load.  Then got the error code.  Then I went back and to the old connection and cut and pasted the IP into both as well as cut and paste the UserID and Password.  It worked.  I suspect the cut/paste may have had something to do with it.  I would like to know what is correct to load in the "Name:" and "FTP Server:" blocks.  The IP in both or the URL and IP respectively? Thanks.

Actually the name can be anything you want to call it.  The ftp server should be either the IP address or the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) such as ftp.symantec.com or ftp.testserver.org.
