GroupWise 7 - GroupWise cannot find the view: 'c:\docume~1\user\locals~1\Temp\XpGWViews\US02MLS1.VEW

Hi guys,

One user is having an odd error that I cannot figure out.  He gets this error randomly:  GroupWise cannot find the view: 'c:\docume~1\user\locals~1\Temp\XpGWViews\US02MLS1.VEW, choose a new default mail view in Options.  I've tried to change the view but the error keeps happening.  The odd thing is you can be reading email and looking in the folder: c:\docume~1\user\locals~1\Temp\XpGWView and see that view there, but then for some reason it goes missing.  Any ideas guys?  Thanks!

Hmmm.... interesting.

.VEW files are View files. They tell the GroupWise client how to display the E-Mail.

I'd try re-installing the client on the machine. If you're not using it yet, be sure to get Support Pack 1 for GroupWise v7.0. You can run a v7.0.1 client against a v7.0 Post Office without any problems.
