Question on error "Access is denied"

Access is denied.
Description: An error occurred while accessing the resources required to serve this request. You might not have permission to view the requested resources.

Error message 401.3: You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied (access denied due to Access Control Lists). Ask the Web server's administrator to give you access to 'C:\Documents and Settings\chaung\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\HiltonTools\HiltonTools\Home\ManageTemplates.aspx'.

I have checked the properties of the file ManageTemplates.aspx. It is ready for archiving.

What could possibly go wrong?

is this while debuging?

do you have a <location> tag in your web config? can you check the security tab(right click properties) on the folder \home and the file ...aspx
I have
pcname\adminstrators
pcname\my login name
pcname\system

they all have full control

is this at work? do you have a domain? did this start only today? then ask the sys admin if any changes where done to security....
this must be annoying :(

web.config is the key word. It is due to the setting of authentication mode.
The app works now. Thanks.
