The July updates from Microsoft gave several of our servers fits. &nbsp;KB917537 failed to install. &nbsp;On one server it just plain fails to load (along with the July 2006 Malicious Software Removal Tools). On a couple of 2003 Servers it hung on install then acted like it installed (from the MS update point-of-view) but doesn't show up on the list of updates (control panel -&gt; add remove programs - show updates).<br />

How do we install it on the computer that still shows it failed and how do we fix the the servers that hung on install, don't show it loaded, and don't think it needs to be loaded?

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
