Configuring ISA 2000 to allow Skype traffic

The problem here is that i'm not all that clever in using ISA 2000. I administer other servers running ISA 2004 and I managed to get Skype working without a problem.

I know that Skype needs all outgoing ports to be opened. I thought that i'd done that. I've created a Packet Filter which allowsoutbound traffic on all TCP ports.

It doesn't work. So what should I have done?

Ian, check your ISA logs. What does it show as being denied?

Hello Keith,

I posted that question yesterday while I was on site at with a customer who I hardly ever visit. I won't be going there again any time soon to investigate this further. So I'll close this question and and award the points.

Thanks for replying anyway.
